During the early morning of Friday, July 4, 2025, the banks of the Guadalupe River overflowed suddenly and violently taking the lives of more than 120 people -- mostly children at summer camp. Since that time, first responders from across Texas and the US and Mexico have come to Kerrville to rescue the survivors and help recover the bodies.
On July 10, 2025, a group of AHEPANs and Daughters traveled there to deliver a check for $10,000 to the owners of Grape Juice who have been serving free meals to first responders for a week.
