About the event
Our local AHEPA Chapter #29 has secured permission to have a float in the City of Houston's annual Veteran's Day Parade. This event will be staged in downtown Houston on the morning/early afternoon of Wednesday, November 11th.
The AHEPA Chapter is inviting all members of the AGOC community who have served (or are currently serving) in any branch of the armed forces of the USA, and interested veterans are asked to confirm their participation in advance via email to the chapter kaitson@aol.com or by phone at 713-569-7716.
On the morning of November 11th, our veterans will meet in the parking lot adjacent to the Festival kitchen where free transportation to and from the parade site will be provided.
Each participant will receive a complimentary AHEPA-branded "wearable" as a memento of the day.
